VEDAM Community
The Mothers' Circle.
A parent-led community, being shaped right now by the founding families of Vedam.
The Vedam Mothers' Circle is not yet a tradition. It is something better — it is being built, in real time, by the parents who are choosing to be among the first Vedam families.
What it will become depends on who joins it now. The Circle meets monthly, hosts events for the children, runs reading evenings, and supports the school in ways the school could never engineer on its own. The first letters from the Circle will appear here later this year.
There is a small window in any new school's life when the parent community gets to decide what kind of community it is. We are inside that window.
What the founding Mothers' Circle is shaping
- The monthly open meetings with the principal, by stage.
- The first festival evenings — Diwali, Pongal, Eid, Christmas.
- Reading circles for parents and for children, separately.
- Mentorship between Vedam parents and parents new to Lucknow / Barabanki.
- A structure of support that the next ten years of Vedam families will inherit.
How to join
If you are a current Vedam parent, you are already in the Circle. Watch for the monthly note from the school. If you are a prospective parent, ask to attend one open meeting — they happen on the first Saturday of every month, on either campus.
